Education & Skill Transfer Programme

The Training component will enable both public and private sector to use the platform and portals to the optimal level and will include a train the trainer module to facilitate a transfer of knowledge and result in a sustainable training programme into the future. It will be a combination of live workshops integrated with eLearning with online support. This is aimed at improving quality service standards along with more efficient waste and energy management.
The Ministerial Support Program will ensure each Ministry responsible for tourism will be allocated an intern trained in smart tourism and in digital ICT. They will become a liaison for the country and continent Portal and Training and will enable each Minister responsible for tourism to have immediate access to state of art technology with appropriate monitoring and measurement tools.

The programme will assist African nations to appreciate the direct and indirect benefits of tourism and to better apply a smarter sustainable development and investment strategy.
